Outside of the Normal shows and everyday airings, there are sometimes TV Specials that require Specialized Graphics and Graphics Packages to make them stand out from the normal everyday showings.

Centerstage High School Musical Theater Showcase
In 2021, even when COVID Protocols were still in place limiting public gatherings, the future stars of Broadway still managed to shine through!
The Centerstage High School Musical Theater Showcase Special, hosted by WFRV-TV Local 5 News, was a special showcase highlighting local high school theater programs across Northeast Wisconsin. This was their way to hold the yearly showcase in a time when they could not do their standard format hosted at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
Centerstage High School Musical Theater Showcase Full Digital Special
I was in charge of assembling and editing the full digital special. I was given video assets from our reporters and production department. This included:
- Story Packages from the WFRV Digital Department
- In-studio talent segments
- TV Commercials edited into the Breaks
I also was in charge of creating and assembling the Graphics package and overall show design for the show. The graphics package included:
- Special Open
- Lower 3rds
- Fullscreens
- Monitors
- Special Close and Credit Reel
The special was built, created, and edited using the following programs:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects

Behind the Ballot: US Senate Race
Behind the Ballot: US Senate Race was a special that highlighted the 2024 race for Wisconsin’s Seat in the United States Senate.
Incumbent senator, Tammy Baldwin (D) faced one of her toughest re-election challenges yet against challenger Eric Hovde (R).
One of the goals of the special was to take a deeper look at the candidates themselves, and get a feel for who they really were and what the ideas and views they would bring to the Senate. Far too often political ads get overwhelming, and can often turn people away from elections or being informed on who they are voting for in general.
Behind the Ballot worked to go beyond the “Bickering of Political Ads” and really take that deep dive with one on one interviews with both candidates.
